Project: Baltic Eagle Offshore Wind Farm
Client: Iberdrola S.A.
Position: HSE Advisor at Project Site in Rostock, Germany

Duties and responsibilities:

Demonstrate and encourage positive safety behaviour, by leading by example, acknowledging good behaviour and intervening in unsafe acts and practices. Attend and actively participate in the onsite daily meeting with the main contractor and lead the HSE elements. Review the site daily reports issued by the main contractor, and follow up any issues or observations and ensure these are properly closed out and reported to project management. Participate to weekly meetings/calls with client, specifically making note of any incidents, accidents, near misses or safety observations. Generate daily reports on the HSE aspects of the work for internal use. Regularly monitor contractor activities and ensure activities are managed in line with health and environmental statutory requirements by  providing proactive feedback and directions to the main contractor. Ensure that the HSE aspects of all site activities are approached in a structured manner, activities have been properly risk assessed and the works being carried out are compliant with the risk assessment, legislation, standards and best industry practices. Provide advice and guidance to the main HSE management team on HSE issues through the interpretation of Iberdrola policies, HSE statutory requirements. Conduct regular permit to work audits ensuring works being carried are compliant with the permit to work. Attend and actively participate to HSE meetings and HSE site inspections organised by the main contractor. Attend and actively participate to tool box talks, risk assessment sessions and job safety analysis organised by the main/landfall contractor. Familiarise with local HSE legislation and documentation to enable an effective HSE oversight of the work to be executed by the main contractor. Ensure the main contractor establish and maintain up to date statistical data concerning all matters of health, safety, training programs and environment protection. Liaise with Client Site Representative and HSE Manager / HSE Lead in relation to the HSE legislation and standard to be followed by the main contractor. Build  and maintain relationships with main contractor in order to secure positive and constructive HSE objective implementation. Enforce the project STOP work policy with the contractor where necessary in the event of a HSE infringement, unsafe act or condition. Ensure the safety observation program is implemented and maintained onsite and ensure follow up on findings. Take part in and or assist with any health safety and environmental audits conducted either internally by Iberdrola or by any external bodies. Assist main contractor HSE management and construction supervisors in accident investigation process and compile reports as required. Ensure that PPE in use is suitable and sufficient for the tasks being undertaken. Ensure all lines of communication on HSE matters are established and maintained during the execution of the works. Provide HSE training as/if required. Monitor contractor’s emergency response arrangements and ensure adequacy and suitability, identifying any shortfalls. Observe and take part in emergency response exercises. Work with project management, contractors, sub-contractors and all stakeholders in the proactive promotion of a positive safety culture.

Project: ASU Moerdijk 
Client: AIR LIQUIDE Global Engineering & Construction Solutions
Position: HSE Site Supervision during Construction phase at Project Site in Moerdijk, The Netherlands

Duties and responsibilities:

Coordination and implementation of approved HSE site plan, detection unsafe work practices and conditions and advice corrective action, control PTW system for all activities, safety supervision for all working at height and welding activities,  conducting HSE site inspections, SIMOPS, HSE confined space inspections, HSE meetings   with contractors pointed on  company safety standards achievement  and best HSE practices , toolbox talks and job safety analysis. Control Permit to Work (PTW) system for all activities, safety induction, detection unsafe work practices and conditions and advice corrective action, preparing daily HSE reports. Check working activities by contractors and AL supervisors are done as per Air Liquide safety requirements, check the compliance of work method and tools with safety, ensure the implementation of safe work permit system, animate safety tool box talks, correct safety deviation, promote good safety practices, inspect the workplaces.

Position: Client HSE Representative at Project Marshalling Yard in Mukran, Germany and Swinoujscie, Poland

Duties and responsibilities:

Attend and actively participate in the onsite daily meeting with the main/landfall contractor and lead the HSE elements. Participate and input to GAZ-SYSTEM daily call, specifically making note of any incidents, accidents, near misses or safety observations. Generate daily reports on the HSE aspects of the work for GAZ-SYSTEM internal use. Regularly monitor contractor activities and ensure activities are managed in line with health and environmental statutory requirements by  providing proactive feedback and directions to the main/landfall contractor. Position: HSE Advisor at Project Marshalling Yard in Karlshamn, Sweden.

Duties and responsibilities:

Leading the HSE aspects of project operations at marshalling yard to ensure compliance with Project and safe work practices. Writing and setting up all required procedures, Risk Assessments, Job Hazard Analysis, Safe working Procedures for the project operations according to local law, Company targets and best industry practices. Performing daily Safety Compliance Inspections to ensure implementation of safe working procedures & best practices, ensuring that Risk Assessment are performed before each potentially dangerous activity, attending daily and weekly site meetings, leading the subcontractors HSE representatives to discuss/agree safety standards, concerns & potential hazards, reporting all incidents to the Client, preparing the full investigation of incidents & near misses to determine the Root Causes of the accidents/injuries, final preparation and approval of all Close Out reports/Investigation findings respectively corrective and remedial actions. Preparing monthly reports and direct reporting to the client with all aspects of HSE.

Project: Turk Stream Project – Offshore pipeline Project
Client: South Stream Transport B.V.
Position: Client HSSE Site Representative for Marshalling Yards at Varna/Burgas, Bulgaria and Samsun/Trabzon, Turkey.

Duties and responsibilities:

Carry out general marshalling yard monitoring to ensure compliance with Project and safe work practices, performing regular Safety Compliance Inspections and Audits of Contractors to ensure implementation of safe working procedures & best practices, ensuring that Risk Assessment and/or Lifting Plans are performed before each potentially dangerous activity or Lifting Operation, participating in/organize/reviewing and final approval of Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis with Contractors & request new RA/JSA if necessary, attending regular meetings with SSTTBV HSSE & Contractors HSSE representatives to discuss/agree safety standards, concerns & potential hazards, participating in the investigation of incidents & near misses to determine the Root Causes of the accidents/injuries, final approval of all Close Out reports/Investigation findings respectively corrective and remedial actions,  lifting and other equipment inspections; addressing any environmental issues that may arise, addressing health/hygiene issues; monitoring conditions in offices, lunchrooms, washrooms, monitoring the contractor retained by SSTTBV to provide site security services, raising NCRs and corrective actions requested.
